Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her lead roles in a variety of television shows and for her enthralling acting in films. Her fan base is large on American as well as Canadian TV. Emily began acting at the age of 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's film productions. Emily began attending classes in acting, and then auditioning following realizing she was passionate about acting. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials for a few minutes before receiving a callback for the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? The only thing she had was a silent one. She got her first big break at the age of 15, when she got a role as a regular character on The WB show Glory Days. Emily's performance was noticed by Greg Berlanti even though the show ended after just nine episodes. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular on Everwood. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and photographer. Teen once named her as one of the top actors who were under twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed Emily as the top 51.
